Are we learning yet - lesson 1

If your mortgage rate changes you will be given an effective date (eg 1st Novv). However it takes upto 14 days for that date for the new rate to be applied. So while I was quite happy that the mortgage had come down on 1st Nov (I thought) the next payment on the 6th will be at the higher rate……………… well of course it is…..
