Tis geting closer

Well I survived (so far) another round of redundency but can't help but getting the feeling it is getting closer. Unfortunately my colleague has been put at hight risk and I can't help but feel it was between the two of us. I am gutted for those that are at risk as I have worked with all of them. We are such a small department now that any cuts will be felt.

Sunny and BBQ

It's true we got very lucky with the weather this weekend. Isabel had her first hair cut on Saturday an emotional event for Mari but big sister Chacha showed her the way. She did really well and now sports a shorter curly hair cut. Chacha's was not so good. She of course enjoyed it but there was breakdown in communication with the hairdresser, result being she will have it re-done before a wedding in two weeks. Chacha has actually done really well over the last couple of social event's. Really seeing her starting to grow and become more interactive and socialible. First noticed at a friends birthday party where some kids were playing holla hoop and she wondered over and asked for a turn. On saturday at the BBQ again she spent less time hagging around my neck and more trying to get involved in other activities without us having to push her. Same again on Sunday at the fun day for Steppingstones. It is really hard to just let her go but I guess we need to start. She still needs a lot of work but nice see her trying more though. In all a great weekend. Eva and Isabel of course enjoyed all the activities with Eva really trying to get moving so she can join in.
