Aaahhhh! There you are.

Finally getting to blog again. It has been very hectic few weeks. Well almost 5 to be honest.

First off the Wedding.
Awesome, awesome awesome day. LL looked absolutely gorgeous as I knew she would. Even after all this time she can leave me speechless. Everything went according to plan. The bridesmaids were very good. CN did very well, although there was a bit of a trauma with the ring cushion and she ended up carrying it down in glittery bag (which matched everything). It didn’t really detract from anything to be honest and she was very happy. The fiesta worked very well and all the people involved went above and beyond the call of duty. (have posted some pics on facebook and will put some here when we get the OK)

The Honeymoon
Margarita is a beautiful island with a very diverse landscape. On the on hand you have the beach (Caribbean) , to mountains (tropical) to almost dessert. All in the space off 42 miles (I think). The hotel was incredible. We went a few people there mostly Canadians (who are crazy but in a good way). Sadly too Germans taking the sun beds but I think that is a global problem. It was hard coz sometimes I had to swim up to bar. I did the Standard English thing and got burnt on the first day. It really is a different type of Sun and I am sure I had a sun cream failure hence the red chest.

Venezuela
We arrived in barquisimeto (which is where the closest airport is to LL house) to be greeted by most of her family. Twenty five or so people all waving and cheering. Felt a lot like a rock star. Tia Nelly had made them all wear name tags which was very cool. Some of the cousins had a surprise for us and put us up in a local hotel, which was very nice.

Then it was off to Carora to LL house. It was very hectic time and I really had to get used to the constant heat. Her Granddad and Uncle came down to meet us too. On the Saturday we had another celebration with her family and friends, which was very typical Venezuelan. A few trips around the local area but mainly catching up with her friends and family. It was a very good time and I enjoyed it a lot.

Back in Blighty
Yep we got back on Sunday and into work for 7am on the Monday. Not really helped by the lack of sleep for a number of days. You see I took a flexi day as one of holidays which means I had to make up the time. So that’s 8 hours in 2 weeks which is not to bad but, I was on a course in London the second week so 8 hours in one week. Bloody hard work but luckily I was kept busy.

London
Finally last weekend was our trip to see the lion king in the big smoke and we decided to say the night too and catch some sights. As normal Saturday was fine but Sunday it pissed down all day but we coped. Lion king was amazing not a lot of songs but the action and customs were out of this world.

So that is about it. Now settling down in to normal life. More soon
